My son was very shy about meeting people from other countries. The fact that he is making new friends and getting over his fear of different cultures is even more important than the English. He can now pass EIKEN Jr Silver and we are trying for Gold later this year.

My daughter could read and write English fairly well, but she could not speak. She also failed her EIKEN-3 exam twice.
